Working towards the Middle Fork River - NM.
One of the perks living semester by semester is the existence of that in-between time. Since I was a student in high school, I lived that in-between time doing some form of travel, usually on the wickedly cheap. A gravity to live a wanderlust style of life, if only for two weeks, was consistenty pulling.
Having a curiosity about "what's out there" coupled with the confidence to satiate that curiosity elevates the joyful life.
In between semesters, we drive. Having the courage to venture outside of a hometown without expectations, without fear of the unknown, with the understanding that the journey is more poinant than the destination - means you're ready for a roadtirp.
Developing visual solutions for the timeless withstanding of ideas.
Our first roadtip, where the outcome would be a book, wasn't our first. But, it was the first time taking scenary seriously - a tool for image making. We packed a tent, a couple of sleeping bags, cookware, a cooler, and a dog....and started to drive.
