The Video

It's not replacing the "Infinity Box". It is, its playdate.

It's about looping video & Interacting with the infinity box.

This video / rebar sculpture was in the works the beginning of Spring 2021; it never made completion beyond the weatherproof box, housing the monitor. Following our completion of the Painting Studio, I began to weld and grind.

I've worked with monitors and video, before, but nothing integrated into an outdoor sculpture. I also have not welded nor ground rebar cubes; it's exhausting. After my first two hours, I found a new appreication for Jasper's efforts going into his Rebar Sculpture solutions, discovered during Fall 2020.

A video feed will be looped 24 hours per day, on the monitor. The video will interact with media-art created on the infinity box.
